We haven’t called this the Twelve Best things to do in California because there are hundreds of things we like to do in the magical, endlessly interesting and diverse State of California.

Despite the ordering, we don’t even rank these in any particular order of preference since something that may blow the mind of one prospective traveller may leave another slightly underwhelmed wondering what the hell the attraction is! Some of our choices could be categorised as mainstream and others less so. Here goes.

Tip #1 - Never Lay Your Lenses Face Down

To protect your lenses and avoid scratches, never lay your sunglasses face down on any surface. Always keep the temples folded and ensure the lenses do not come into contact with any surfaces.

Tip #2 - Do Not Rest Your Sunglasses on Top of Your Head

Although it may be convenient, resting your sunglasses on top of your head can cause them to stretch over time, leading to an improper fit. Additionally, they can easily get tangled in your hair, which can be frustrating.
